Solution : Win10 incorrectly identifies the USB modem as a USB Mass storage device, when in fact it is a USB composite device. even though this USB modem drivers were discontinued at Windows XP Well Im replying to this thread running Windows 10 connected via a very old Huawei E220 USB modem supplied by Vodacom but on a MTN Sim with Afrihost data contract so I can categorically state that you can get it working.
